First date in month is 1st class and 2nd class on next Saturday, so only first Saturday of each month available for enrollment. If necessary, we will accommodate schedule change.

WHO CAN ATTEND

In order to enroll in this course, students must be 15 years old by the start of the course. In order to get his/her PERMIT,(15 ) if they have NOT completed this course, the student must provide DPS a contract/proof of enrollment from this drivers education course. If they have NOT completed this course, (10 hours class and 6 hours of driving) the student will have to take the written test at the time they get their permit. If they HAVE FINISHED this course (10 hours class and 6 hours of driving) and get their completion certificate, they will not have to take the written test for their permit.

ENROLLMENT

Enrollment is limited and students are are enrolled on a first come, first served basis. Students may enroll directly by submitting the registration form under registration tab above. The dates available are listed above, please choose the date you would like for first class, the second class will be the following Saturday. If a student has to miss a Saturday class it can be made up on the next Saturday class or agreed upon date.

ABOUT THE COURSE

The cost of the course is $390*, see below. This course on average takes 6-9 weeks to complete. All fees will be refunded if the school cancels the class. Refunds will ONLY be made when a tuition-paying replacement is available if the student needs to cancel after enrollment.

EPIC STUDENTS: If you are an EPIC student, we no longer will invoice EPIC, it will be the student/parent/guardians responsibility to pay for the course on the first day of class.

Students will spend 2 Saturdays 7am-12pm, which is 10 hours in the classroom. Students must attend the 10 hours of class-time and 6 hours of drive time to complete this course, State of Oklahoma requirements. If a student misses a Saturday class it can be made up on the following Saturday or agreed upon date.  

Students must be dropped off and picked up 10 minutes before and after each scheduled class time.

Driving groups will be scheduled at the beginning of the session. Each student must complete 6 hours of driving time. Students will be picked up at school or their home and returned after completing their driving time. Completion time depends on student responding to drive times available and it is the student’s responsibility to arrange drive times by responding to the group text message sent by the instructor.

Classroom: Students are allowed to bring any drinks/food they want to class. This is a classroom setting with access to a water fountain but no food. They will be given a break at 10:00 and some have ordered food from Scott’s. If parents want to bring food back to the classroom that is not a problem.
